Ventfort Hall would like to welcome back bridge lessons taught by expert Irving Marks. The lessons will be every Friday from 2:00 to 4:00pm,starting September 28 and running through December 21. Mr. Marks will lead his pupils through the intricacies of the game. Marks is a Bronze Life Master, a member of the American Bridge Teachers Association and teaches advanced competitive duplicate course. Bridge is based on the game of Boston Whist. Harold Sterling Vanderbilt codified the rules for this game. Whist was a popular form of entertainment during the Gilded Age. The price of a $12 donation to Ventfort Hall, includes snacks and beverages.
