About this experience

The bloodshed of the Civil War left an inconsolible nation picking up the pieces of their hearts long after the bodies were buried. Enter the rise of Spiritualism and the practice of communicating with the dead. No particular class was excluded, including the American elite.
By the 1890's, Spiritulaism had gripped the nation, including the Protestant widow of Abraham Lincoln, known to practice seances in the White House.
Did Mary receive the messages she was looking for?
Ventfort Hall's own Louise Levy, life-long student of American History dives deep into Mary's practice and grieving heart in the final Tea & Talk of the season!
Tickets are $40 for members and with advance reservation; $45 day of. Reservations are strongly encouraged as seats are limited. Walk-ins accommodated as space allows. Please note that all tickets are nonrefundable and non-exchangeable.
