Photography & Video Policy: 
Photographs are permitted at Ventfort Hall. 
Video is prohibited. 
Audio Recording is prohibited.
Photoshoots are not permitted unless previously booked. If you're interested in booking a photoshoot at Ventfort Hall, reach out to us at Events@GildedAge.org. 

Bag Policy: 
No large bags or backpacks are permitted inside the museum. Please leave any large bags, backpacks, or other bulky items in your vehicle before entering the building.

Small backpacks (only large enough to fit a wallet) are permitted. 

Bags containing medical equipment or for use in childcare are permitted. 

Paranormal Policies: 
This energy of this house is famous. It is also something we share the space with and respect.  We treat our resident spirits with love and kindness and they do the same for us. We recognize that this is their home and honor and acknowledge them often. 
That said, we have policies in place to keep the harmony, energetic balance, and full respect for our sprits in tact. 

Ventfort Hall is not open for private Paranormal Investigations. For interested parties wanting to book the house for an event with paranormal or spiritualist guests, items, or programming, the following items are prohibited in Ventfort Hall: 
*Ouija Boards
*Summoning items
*Items with strong energetic resonance
*"Haunted" items.

The following activities are strictly prohibited: 
*Séances
*Summoning
*Spells of any kind
*Casting
*Provocation of spirits
*Disrespecting or antagonizing the resident energy
*Speaking ill or ignorantly of the deceased

Mediumship Events:
*Mediums directly contacting or speaking for the resident spirits at Ventfort Hall
*Recordings of these events being released publicly
*Mediums are to refrain from speaking for the spirits of Ventfort Hall, but may channel their own clients energies.
