Astrology 101

A friendly, lecture-style introduction to the stars

Event description:
Curious about astrology but not sure where to start? In this two-hour, lecture-style class, we’ll demystify the basics so you can read a natal chart with confidence. We’ll cover the “big four” (Sun, Moon, Rising, and chart ruler), the 12 signs and their elements/modalities, the 12 houses (life areas), and the major aspects (conjunctions, trines, squares, etc.). You’ll learn how planets express in different signs, why house placement matters, and how transits activate your personal story.  Midway, enjoy a light tea service to steep on what you’ve learned—pun intended.

• Time: 11:00 AM–1:00 PM (2 hours)

• Format: Lecture with Q&A + short tea break

• Location: Ventfort Hall

• Tickets: $35

Who it’s for
Beginners and the astro-curious—no prior knowledge required.
Ages 13+

What to bring

• A notebook and pen/pencil (or purchase supplies in the Ventfort Hall Gift Shop)

• Optional: your birth date, exact birth time, and birthplace to sketch your own chart

Tickets for the workshop are $35. Reservations are strongly encouraged as seating is limited with walk-ins accommodated as space allows. Please note that all tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
