David Raby returns for another paranormal investigation of the historic and haunted Ventfort Hall. Raby is a non-fiction author, historical researcher, and long-time paranormal investigator whose work brings together careful archival digging and a genuine respect for the spirits and stories tied to old places. For more than two decades, he has explored some of the most haunted locations in New England and Pennsylvania, stepping into spaces that unsettle most people to understand why certain presences linger and what their histories can still tell us.

This season marks his ninth year investigating Ventfort Hall. His long relationship with the mansion has allowed him to follow its stories—both documented and whispered—and to better understand the people, past and present, who shaped its history. His approach is rooted in empathy and honesty; he believes that spirits respond to openness and that their stories deserve to be handled with care.

Over the years, Raby has taken part in countless investigations, written widely, and spoken with people who reach out for many different reasons—curiosity, fear, or simply the hope that someone will listen. His work grows out of solid research and a belief that remembering someone’s story matters. By giving attention to voices that might otherwise fade away, he hopes to offer both the living and the departed a chance to be understood and, when it’s possible, to find a measure of peace.

Before the investigation, Raby will give a brief history of the lives that once graced the hallways – and possibly still reside within. He will also share some of his favorite evidence from previous investigations and will be happy to answer any questions about paranormal investigations.
